I have secondary infertility. That means I was able to conceive and carry to term before, but for whatever reason, I am unable to do so again (to date).
- We chose to have our first two children by adoption rather than pregnancy.
- Our third child was conceived on our second cycle EVER of not preventing and was a text book pregnancy, albeit I was super sick (morning sickness) for most of the pregnancy.
- We decided to try for #4 in August of 2013. Since then, we've had 3 losses- 2 early and 1 late, first trimester.
- I started seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE) in January 2015 who diagnosed me with Stage III endometriosis (scar tissue covering my ovaries, and they were adhered to my abdominal wall).
- I started seeing a Certified Acupuncturist (CA) in February 2015.
- I started seeing a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in March of 2015 who diagnosed me with pituitary imbalances.
